Beau Carr Heads to Mount Aloysius
Beau Carr has made his college basketball plans official, committing to the men's basketball program at Mount Aloysius College. The 6'3" guard hails from the Cockburn Cougars program in Western Australia, known for his tenacious defense and exceptional shooting capabilities.

This past May, Beau showcased his talents on the NXT Pro circuit as an unsigned senior. His performance there underscored his potential, with his ability to heat up on the offensive end being a standout feature of his game. Now, he's set to bring that same intensity and prowess to the NCAA Division III level in the United States.
Joining Mount Aloysius College Basketball
Mount Aloysius College competes in the NCAA Division III and is a part of the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC). Under the leadership of head coach Pat Martinelli, who took charge in 2026, the program is seeking to improve its competitive standing. The previous head coach, Marcus Thomas, compiled a 30-95 overall record over five seasons before stepping down. His final season saw the team finish with a 4-21 record, including a 2-14 mark within the conference.
Coach Martinelli is tasked with building a successful program, and Beau’s commitment adds a promising player to the roster. Although the team was projected to finish seventh in the AMCC for the 2025-26 season, additions like Beau aim to help elevate the program.
Acknowledging the Path So Far
While AUSA Hoops played a role in Beau’s college pathway, his development is the result of diverse support from junior clubs like the Cockburn Cougars, along with schools and a network of coaches. Beau’s commitment is an important step in his basketball journey, representing hard work and dedication cultivated across many years and communities.
