Jack Bryan's College Commitment
Jack Bryan, the 6'6" wing forward, has officially committed to joining the men's basketball program at Mt Aloysius College. Known for his versatility on the court, Jack has consistently impressed with his well-rounded play, distinguishing himself both offensively and defensively during his time with Hawthorn Magic in the Big V Youth League. His performance in the league has been notable for significant scoring contributions.
Jack's abilities were further highlighted during his recent tours in Kansas City and Tulsa this past May. He showcased strong rebounding skills, effective touches around the rim, and defensive versatility, adapting to various positions and opponents. This modern utility player is comfortable operating both inside and outside, capable of anchoring a defense against players of differing sizes and speeds.

Mt Aloysius College Men's Basketball Program
Mt Aloysius College competes in NCAA Division III as part of the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC). Under the leadership of head coach Pat Martinelli, who took over the program in 2026, the team has been focusing on improving their standings within the conference. Martinelli brings experience from Carnegie Mellon and Chatham University, where he contributed to competitive postseason appearances.
The program has faced challenges recently, with a 5-20 record in the 2022-23 season and slightly bettering it to 7-18 in the 2024-25 season. Despite no recent AMCC tournament titles or NCAA tournament appearances, the program is determined to climb the ranks with talented recruits like Jack Bryan, aiming to establish a strong identity and achieve greater success in the seasons ahead.
