Samford University Women's Basketball
Samford University’s women’s basketball team competes in the Southern Conference as a member of NCAA Division I. The team is led by head coach Matt Wise, who started his tenure in April 2025. Despite a challenging 2025-26 season with an overall 16-19 record, the team achieved an impressive SoCon Tournament championship, securing their place in the NCAA Tournament for the first time in 14 years.
